If Google want to turn Google Friend Connect more popular and useful, just update the Blogger comment system with Friend Connect! It's so hard?

Do you know there is a twitter client which use GFC to connect with multiple twitter accounts? it is Twitgether, http://twittergadget.appspot.com/gfc/.

Sérgio Estrella has a valid point. Frind connect has a lot of promise and the comment system on blogger, frankly, leaves a lot to be desired. Why not fold it up and move on?

I agree the Commenting System is Very Bad I cant Edit Comments on My Blog and I also Cant See where the Comment is Coming From Before I Publish it. People fowwlow your blog with GFC but they Can't Seem to use the Gadgets that well Even on Popular Sites that use it there are Very few comments

Next step should be to streamline the gadgets, and how about a members search.

Wish people would stop moaning and get a grip of where Friend Connect is headed :-)

Another fantastic upgrade.
You guys ROCK!

People have a right to moan if they make valid criticism and Google just ignores them.

Is there a way to link the Twitter account to the Google account so that posting a comment (using Google acc) has the option to post the same message on Twitter as well?

How about spending time integrating Google Friend Connect with more Google products before working with others.

Google Friend Connect still does not work with Google Sites, a natural partner but neglected.

The GFC site tells me I have 30 members. The social bar on my site says 22. And I have received about 8 emails "so-and-so has joined acepilots.com," but I never see their membership data.

Comments also go missing.

Is the Google team aware of such issues? Looking into them? I would be happy to provide more detailed data, such as the emails.

Yes Blogger comments are a pain.. but have you tried using GFC for comments? Moderation is broken and you can't register for follow on comments. There is no site based comments feed, so following comments (for more than 13 days)is painful. When you do click on a comment link it drops you back on the page and you have to re-find your comment in the gadget.

BTW it is ridiculously easy to replace the Blogger comment system with GFC, you can even do it with drop in sidebar javascript.

Many sites have Twitter accounts like @google. One option to link a Friend Connect site configuration to a Twitter Account and import all the followers as GFC Twitter Followers will turn Friend Connect the most important reference of the site audience. In addiction of the recently announced Twitter integration, this can turn GFC much more attractive for site owners and for site visitors.

The same for Orkut Communities and Google Groups, for example. GFC have to concentrate all the social information of a site to become relevant.
